Introduction
Welcome to Ecall. We built this service with a simple goal: to provide secure, private communication for everyone. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Ecall.
By using Ecall, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our service.
Information We Do Not Collect
Privacy is a core design principle at Ecall. Our systems are intentionally designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect:
  • The content of your audio or video calls
  • Your contacts
  • Precise location data
  • Browsing history or activity outside of Ecall
  • Advertising identifiers or tracking data
Because calls are protected by end-to-end encryption, Ecall cannot access the content of your conversations.

We will never use your information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose not directly related to providing the Ecall service.
End-to-End Encryption
All audio and video calls on Ecall are protected by end-to-end encryption. This means:
  • Calls are encrypted on your device before transmission
  • Only you and your conversation partner(s) can decrypt the content
  • Ecall servers never have access to encryption keys
  • Each call uses unique, ephemeral encryption keys
  • Even if servers are compromised, your calls remain private
We use industry-standard encryption protocols that have been independently audited and verified by security researchers.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information only in these specific circumstances:
  • Service Providers: Trusted third parties who help us operate our service (e.g., cloud hosting providers), under strict confidentiality agreements
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government regulation (we will notify you unless prohibited)
  • Safety and Security: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Ecall, our users, or the public
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our service:
  • Account information is kept until you delete your account
  • Technical logs are automatically deleted after 30 days
  • Call metadata (duration, participants) is deleted after 90 days
  • Call content is never stored on our servers (due to end-to-end encryption)
